Удаление .mozilla в $HOME не помогает.

Мало того - она так же не запускается у нового пользователя.

Снеси mozilla, удали каталог /usr/lib/mozilla, поставь по новой.
Я ее буду пересобирать, но совсем по другому поводу.

Снес. Потом поставил.
Вот баги:
[rider@rider rider]$ mozilla 
/usr/bin/mozilla: line 99: 28710 Segmentation fault      $MOZ_PROGRAM
-remote "openurl(about:blank,new-window)" 2>/dev/null >/dev/null
Error sending command.
[rider@rider rider]$

При запуске под root:
[root@rider rider]# mozilla 
Registering plugin 0 for: "*","All types",".*"
Move window by 511.5,383.5
New location for profile registry and user profile directories is ->
/root/.mozilla
we don't handle eBorderStyle_close yet... please fix me
Inside Migrate Profile routine.
start of pref migration
failed to migrate properly.  err=-2142044161
JavaScript error: 
 line 0: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure
code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)

Сношу и ставлю, сношу и ставлю -- все как часы...
Попробуй еще раз снести:
mozilla mozilla-mail mozilla-devel mozilla-psm
Удалить $HOME/.mozilla, /usr/lib/mozilla
Установить вышеперечисленное, запустить mozilla в xterm не от root (!).
