Скорее всего, по ошибке.

А почему подстановки в /etc/pam.d/* находятся в brp-cleanup,
а не в brp-fixup? Я думал, что cleanup только файлы удаляет.
И ещё вопрос: что означает brp?

Fixup тоже можно сделать модульным, чтобы он автоматически вызывал
/usr/lib/rpm/fixup-* а лучше /usr/lib/rpm/*.fixup, чтобы не писать
лапшу типа [ -z "${f##*~}" -o -z "$f{##*.rpmorig}" -o -z "${##*.rpmsave}" ]
Посмотрел я на некоторые скрипты, адаптировать их не слишком просто
получается...
