libvte можно перенести из Daedalus в Sisyphus, или вообще
убрать из Sisyphus.
Сейчас там лежит старая версия из той же ветви, что и в Daedalus,
которую вдобавок никто в Sisyphus не использует, кроме
учебно-тренировочного терминала vte.

Возьму себе. С поправленными BuildRequires собралось в hasher
("теперь содержит 0% -lXft2!!"); если Вы не против -- заливаю в
incoming vte-0.11.0-alt2 и grip-3.1.2-alt1.

А смысл? vte-0.11.10 из Daedalus -- это тот же ABI плюс
исправленные баги. -lXft2 в libvte.la этого пакета тоже нет.

Ну тогда скажите однозначно -- "пе-ре-но-сить" :-)
Только есть предложение пока залить 0.11.0-alt2, которая дает ход
моему пакету, потому как это все же придется исправить:
trickster:~/Download> sudo rpm -Uvh libvte*-0.11.10-alt1.*
error: failed dependencies:
libgtk+2 >= %gtk_ver is needed by libvte-0.11.10-alt1

Поправил спек (attached); если Вы не против, для упрощения
изложения предложим incoming@ забрать из /i/S/BTE пакеты:
grip-3.1.2-alt2 (builr with grip-3.1.2-alt2)
vte-0.11.10-alt2 (fixed requires)
Проверил -- здесь работает.
