    ALT is an abbreviation for ALT Linux Team.

I like the recursive acronym, but since what you're working on
includes GNU as well as Linux, calling it all "Linux" is not right.
You called the system "GNU/Linux" in your message, so it seems that
you already understand this issue.  Could you talk with the other
people in the team about it?

Вслед за Owl я предпочитаю форму
GNU/*/Linux
в тех случаях, когда это существенно.
