Здравствуйте Сообщество!
В своём Мастере 2.0 обнаружил следующую проблему:
1. Захожу пользователем.
2. su root
3. minicom
И на экране появляются крокозябы, разбавленные английским текстом (если
зайти рутом - всё отображается по английски). Понимаю, что надо сказать
minicom, чтобы он использовал правильную локаль. Не понимаю как это сделать:
в документации я не нашел описания настроек локали для minicom, а общими он
по-видимому не пользуется...
Подскажите пожалуйста, как бороться. Заранее благодарен.

Не надо делать su root
Если вы хотите пользоваться модемом через minicom,
достаточно внести себя в группу uucp ( файл /etc/group)

Я его (модем) собственно хотел проверить и настроить. А про группу - не
знал...
