Доброго времени суток!
Достаточно ли будет удалить lilo и поставить grub2 с помощью Synaptic? Или это делается как-то иначе? И как быть с конфигом, настраивать заново или как-то можно перенести из lilo.conf?

Не советую.
С Grub2, как я понимаю, никто особо не работал.
