какой дистрибутив ? Что в /etc/apt/sourse.d/*list (/etc/apt/sourse.list)
1. Дистриб. 3.0 Compact
2. sourse.list:

В папках на дисках Е и Д лежат все пакеты с DVD, /base в них создавал genbasedir, там по три файла -

При создании файлов genbasedir замечаний об ошибках не делал, при создании базы команда apt-get тоже.
