Здравствуйте community,
Почему в сабже такие кривые шрифты? Имею в виду, что не такие
плавные как например в Спринге.

В Junior-2 по умолчанию включено сглаживание шрифтов, для которого
требуются скалируемые (Type1, ttf) шрифты. К сожалению, хороших
свободных скалируемых шрифтов пока нет, потому рекомендуется
устанавливать шрифты, например, отсюда.
Если отключить сглаживание шрифтов (в KDE -- из настроек, в
Mozilla/galep/skipstone -- установив MOZILLA_XFT=0), то можно выбрать те
же шрифты, что и в Spring, но сейчас "в моде" сглаживание (антиалиасинг).
