В сборке
altlinux-p7-sysv-tde-20140301-i586.iso
по моей просьбе, лежит пакет ntpd.
Я очень извиняюсь, моя вина.
У меня просьба:
из следующей сборки p7-sysv-tde убрать пакет ntpd и положить туда пакет
openntpd.
Было бы хорошо, если бы openntpd попал в iso до релиза.
(в релизных альтах пакет openntpd, как увиделось, (а не ntpd) лежит не
случайно)
Перед отравкой письма, ещё раз втащил в систему пакет ntpd, перегрузил
и увидел, что и системные и RTC после перезагрузки уехали на три часа
назад. Конфиг не изменял. Вернул назад openntpd, поднял, перегрузил
систему. И получил всё так, как и должно быть.
При этом маркер в alterator-datetime с openntpd и удерживается и
снимается с опции 'Работать как NTP-сервер' нормально.
Оправдываюсь:
Не послушался совета вешать баг на alterator-datetime, который сидел
у себя поверх пакета ntpd. Надо было _ещё_ упоминать, но интуиция
подсказывала что что-то здесь не так. Тем более совпало оно по времени
когда смотрел на баг 29685 с частыми крахами.
Не сросталась логика.
Случай подвернулся увидеть что именно не так, когда пользователь задал
вопрос на форуме с просьбой о помощи. Спасибо ему и asy, который
мимоходом спросил "ntpd или openntpd?", чем и напомнил о существовании
пакета openntpd. После замены пакета ntpd на openntpd, логика связки
компонентов, включая всё остальное, моментально стали на свои места.

Но! Вскрылась случайным образом ещё проблема.
Поначалу думал специфичная для p7-sysv-tde.
И последовательно выводами озвучил суть проблемы:

Но подтвердили, что по крайней мере для p7, проблема имеет
повторяемость и не на sysv-tde:

Можно было бы на багтрекер, так зацепиться не за что, на какой
компонент.
Абсолютно непонятно кто трогает аппаратные часы.
