Сегодня с утреца установил дома АЛЬТ 5-й (с DVD от 2008-06-15). Терзаю.
Нужно ставить принтер. Знаю, есть в КДЕ удобный инсталлятор принтера.
В меню в строке поиска даю "print" - ничего, "печат" - ничего. Удивляюсь.
Зову apt-cache search
Нахожу kde4admin-print. Радуюсь. Рано. Он в сизифе. И пока он мне на моих
128 килобитах в секунду пол-сизифа затянет я и на работу опоздаю.
Догадываюсь в меню поискать "настройка". О! Находится веб-морда, знакомая
еще со времен мастера 2.0 :-)
На тестовой странице линейки понравилась. Класс!
Ну лучше бы kde4admin-print включить в стандартную поставку на диск. А то
к хорошему привыкаешь быстро.
Попутно может кто знает чем отличается драйвер "Epson Stylus C43SX
Foomatic/guteprint-ijs-simplified.5.2 (en)" от драйвера "Epson Stylus
C43SX Foomatic/guteprint-ijs.5.2 (en)" ?
Я установил simplified. Печатает. Но хочу всё знать.
