Да, в нем специально убрали все, касающееся сети. И не только сети.

Ну... Либо руками позабрасывать с рабочей системы все нужные пакеты и
поставить, при условии что он флешку монтирует, либо (самый кошерный и
траффикообъемный метод) взять профиль, добавить все, что нужно для
настройки и поднятия сети, и собрать его в iso-шку.
