Сабж находится в моем ноутбуке. Никогда 3D на нем нормально не работало,
в 4.0 glxgears безбожно тормозило, в 4.1 вешает систему. Ну и черт бы с
ним, ибо я на 3D и не рассчитывал.
НО! Вот на днях случилось неожиданное. Ковырялся в демках QT4, в том
числе в том, что по части opengl. Кое-что работало и запускалось. После
этого решил таки запустить еще раз glxgears. Оно запустилось и бодренько
крутило шестерни (к сожелению fps не посмотрел). Сделал ребут и запустил
glxgears - повесило систему.
Попробовал рандомно позапускать демки opengl из QT4, а потом glxgears -
не помогло. Вчера времени еще поупражняться в научном тыке не было.
Вот теперь пишу сюда. Как минимум интересно: Что это вообще было? Почему
glxgears внезапно завелся? Куда вообще можно копнуть по этому вопросу?

/var/log/Xorg.0.log, если не успевает заклинить намертво.
Возможно, есть доступ по ssh, даже если консоль замёрзла.
