Инсталятор не нашел плату RTL-8169.
Настроил вручную: /etc/modules.conf, /etc/sysconfig/...
Нужно ли создавать устройство /dev/eth0, если сеть работает?
Если нужно то как это сделать?

мда, а мне всегда казалось, что сетевые девайсы как файлы не
присутсвуют...
в modules.conf:
alias eth0 <module>
этого хватит выше крыши
