Добрый день.
Есть сервер из которого предполагается сделать файл-сервер внутри сети с
клиентами под windows XP. Кофигурация P4-1700/512Mb/2x120Gb TX2 RAID.
Клиентов всего 3, поэтому домен подниматься не предполагается. Но
информации для общего доступа будет храниться очень много. Стоит два
винта по 120Gb в зеркале на Promise IDE RAID. Как лучше разбить
винчестер, чтобы максимально возможное место оставить для расшаренных
директорий? Предполагается , что сервер будет обслуживать только шары,
потому как отдельный гейт для выхода в интернет на линукс уже оборудован.
Если не сложно распишите прямо поразделам: / - столько-то ф/с такая-то,
swap - столько-то......
Я только начинаю изучать Самбу, и из документации понял, что раздел, где
будут создаваться расшаренные директории, лучше делать, например, не в
/home/shares, а монтировать как отдельный раздел диска. Это правильно?
Буду благодарен за ссылки по настройке Samba + winXP
Также прошу подсказать, если кто имел опыт, насколько безглючно работает
самба 3.0.14a та что лежит в сизифе?
