Установлен Compact 2.3
Монитор LCD NEC 1760NX подключен через DVI кабель к видеокарте ATI Radeon 9200.
При загрузке X пропадает изображение: "DVI DIGITAL NO SIGNAL" на мониторе.
Сигнал отправляется на аналоговый порт видеокарты.
мне дали ссылку:

и посоветовали обновить или пересобрать XFree.
Я поставил XFree из Сизифа. apt - закачал новый glibc ... , XFree ...
После запуска X или startx - тоже самое "DVI DIGITAL NO SIGNAL".
Что делать как подключить монитор через DVI кабель?

А у меня отлично работает с 9600.

Вы не указали самое главное - какой драйвер используете.
ati или flgrx?
И не привели раздел XF86Config, относящийся к настройкам монитора
и видеокарты.
