При попытке установить Compact имеет место _мертвое_ зависание машины в
момент
появления графической заставки AltLinux, до вывода какого-либо текста в
окнах
этой заставки (варианты установки и т.п.). То же при загрузке с дискеты.
Tyan Tiger MP (S2460, bios v.1.03), память 2Гб, 2xAthlonMP 1800+,
видео Matrox G450 16Мб, звук SB PCI-128 (es1371),
SCSI Tekram DC390 (sys53c8xx), сетевая 3с590,
IDE0 -- два HDD, IDE1 -- zip-дисковод (master) и CD Teac-540 (slave).
Master в свое время встал без единой проблемы.
Прошу совета...
