AFAIK Wind River - это компания, производящая ОС-ы. Самой известной, на
мой взгляд, является ОС реального времени VxWorks. Она ставится на
разном телекоммуникационном оборудовании, например(если склероз меня не
подводит) на Nortel-овских АТС-ах Meridian. Тут на cnew-се недавно
вроде-бы новость была, что под управлением этой ОС-и спутник запустили.
Кроме того, они, по-моему в свое время покупали BSDi Software (BSD/OS)...
