Давно хотел спросить куда из /dev подевались симлинки cdrom, dvd и т.п. на
физический привод.
Наблюдаю их отсутствие на двух системах KDesktop 6.0 x86_64. Одна
ставилась еще с беты (и dist-upgrade до p6 постоянно), а другая с
FinalRelease (так и стоит без обновлений).
Оно вроде и не критично, но всплыла проблема с проигрыванием AudioCD. kscd
и амароку нужен /dev/cdrom.

Их упразднили, или у меня что-то сломано?

Их раньше создавал udev. Можно считать, что упразднили.
