ALT Linux Compact 3.0 DVD
Помогите, пожалуйста, разобраться с субтитрами в MPlayer.
Имеется mp4 контейнер с mpeg-4 videostream, audio и subtitles.
Subtitles сделаны в формате VobSub. MPlayer не показывает ничего - ни
квадратиков, ни кракозябров.
Пробовал и с GUI интерфейсом и из командной строки (например):
mplayer -vo fbdev -vobsubid 1 /media/cdrom/DVD.mp4 - никаких
субтитров. Пробовал -vobsubid 0, -vobsub и даже, на всякий случай
-slang ru или всё это попеременно плюс -font 'Bitstream Vera Sans' -
субтитров нет.
Что можно ещё сделать? На отсутствие фонта MPlayer не ругается - есть
корректно подложенный русский фонт (arial 14, cp1251).

mplayer file.mp4 -sid 0|1 какая там дорожка
или еще проще - mplayer file.mp4 и капой j крутим по сабам.
У меня вроде никаких проблем с сабами нет.

Ничего не выходит :( обеими способами. Видео/аудио есть - субтитров
нет. Там субтитров - одна дорожка, русская. На кнопку "J" не реагирует
никак.

Такой плейер у меня не стоит. Обычно использую xine для DVD и MPlayer
для MPEG-4 стримов...
В оффтопике стоит СССP. ZoomPlayer спокойно всё играет, видео, звук и
субтитры показывает. Файл сделан из: AVC Video, Nero HE Audio,
Subtitles. Сделан Nero Recode 2.
MPlayer под линуксом не показывает субтитры :(

У меня показывает все. Какой-то извращенный формат сабов видимо.. неро
какое-то.
Тогда не знаю.

Nero не пользует ничего "своего" в субтитрах. Формат субтитров -
Direct VobSub. Кстати, у меня и в контейнере matroska субтитров нет в
MPlayer. Формат субтитров - один и тот же. Как "подключить" субтитры
из matroska?
К тому же - в оффтопике всё показывает. Haali Media Splitter
обрабатывает это без вопросов.

/me только что прокатал парочку ogm mkv и avi с сабами - все показывает.
