У меня - ABIT VP6. Есть пункт "Integrated Peripherals"->"USB
Controller"->"USB Keyboad Support", с двумя вариантами: "OS" и "BIOS".
Нужен второй.

У меня материнская плата ABIT SA6 (это ещё под SDRAM память, Pentium 3),
такой или даже подобной опции в BIOS нет. На клавиатуре можно менять
индикацию набора цифр вплоть до этапа определения мыши.
