Действительно от логина остается (верхняя строка консолей).
Вообще оно жить ни разу не мешает.
А вообще при перезагрузке/выключении возможно имело бы смысл написать,
мол система перезагружается/выключается (в духе баннера из rc.sysinit),
а затем уже укладывать демонов и дальше по тексту.
