Доброе время суток!
После update всего postgres'а сервер перестал запускаться. Выяснил, что
_пропал_ /etc/localtime, который копируется в chrooted /etc. Это
gроизошло на двух компах. Я вернул назад эти файлы. На одной машине
загрузка восстановилась, а на другой сервер стартует, минуту делает
wait_socket и выходит.
В чем может быть дело?
P.S. При попытке запустить сервер время ровно на три часа ушло вперед???

Как минимум стоит повесить багу.

Посмотрите bugzilla, там ещё про pidfile что-то было.
Я вешал и рецепт объезда прилагал.

Ну так +0300, явно зону кто-то учесть не смог.
