Нужно разово скопировать по сети ~ 30Gb на чистый комп,
набираю:
rsync -av --bwlimit=0 ...
Как можно увеличить скорость работы?
Скорость текущая 0,4 Mb/c...

А как и когда измеряли?
(rsync поначалу список файлов создает, а уже только потом передает)
Способ работы с rsync?

Два сервера подключены в один хаб 100Мб (Compex 8 портов).

Захожу по ssh с третьей машины и запускаю на одном сервере rsync
--progress показывает скорость закачки каждого файла,
это примерно 400 Кб/c.
С помощью mii-tool поставил half-duplex у сетевых карт обоих серверов,
стало примерно 900 Кб/c.

На 2.6.3-alt2:
$ rsync --progress travelcd-allwindowmanagers-2.9.0.1.iso user@linux-box::some-module/

travelcd-allwindowmanagers-2.9.0.1.iso
207312896 100% 9.72MB/s 0:00:20 (1, 100.0% of 1)
sent 207338309 bytes received 36 bytes 8822908.30 bytes/sec
total size is 207312896 speedup is 1.00
Дома попробую на чистом M2.4, но все-таки мне кажется,
что дело не в rsync.
