Здраствуйте.
Есть видеокарточка ATI 9600 XT
3D ускорение работает только из под рута.
Что нужно сделать что бы работал из под пользователя.
Система ALC 2.3

Перед перезапуском Х-ов осенить себя крестным знамением :-)
Имеет смысл сначала прочесть
/usr/share/doc/XFree86-server-4.3.0/README.DRI
Существует менее "сатанинская" альтернатива.
