Здравствуйте!
Делаю так
ssh -C -X host
$> sylpheed
запустилась, все по-русски
а если сделать так
ssh -C -X host sylpheed
то все русские буквы кракозябрами
обе машины идентичные, М2.2, ставил копированием винта с одной на другую.
Из-за этого приходится пользователю руками набирать, вместо того чтобы мышкой
в меню выбрать.
Может запускать скрипт, в котором устанавливать локаль а потом вызывать сильфиду?
Другие программы не пробовал.
