или стоит подождать очередного (и когда он будет) ?
А где можно скачать _стабильные_ срезы Сизифа ?
То есть чтобы за время скачивания каких-либо изменений в том репозитарии
не произошло ?

Они называются "дистрибутивами". Замороженных снапшотов не знаю,
разве попросите кого-нибудь сделать... но сейчас (пока с .la не
дорешают) я бы не морочился.
