Если это .i386.rpm (или i586 и т.п.), то собирать не нужно.
Попробуйте, во-первых, найти такую программу для Junior,
может быть, она есть.
Если нет, то ставьте так:
(от рута) # rpm -Uhv <имя_файла>
(не от рута) $ sudo rpm -Uhv <имя_файла>
