Примерно через месяц на 19th ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles
группой авторов из Беркли будет представлен доклад о Capriccio, "a scalable
thread package for use with high-concurrency servers".

Кто интересуется C10K (проблемой 10тыс одновременно активных клиентских
подключений) - рекомендую ознакомиться, если ещё не успели. Авторы отстаивают
многонитевой подход в противоположность асинхронному вводу-выводу (epoll,
например). Особенно впечатляет размах экспериментов.
