В общем результат таков:
тв-чип, если верить nvtv, chrontel 7007
Настроек оказалось да ушей :) Старался ничего не менять, а только
пробовал различные режимы из предложенных. В некоторых случаях картинка
на ТВ была близка к идеалу, но вывод MPlayer'a в полном экране всегда
выползал за пределы изображения, даже если реальный размер кадра в
фильме был меньше указанного разрешения :-(
Короче, все равно удобства нет, т.к. выставляется одинаковый вывод на ТВ
и монитор, причем на мониторе не работает скролинг рабочей области (т.е.
панель и прочее оказывается вне экрана и никак к ней не добраться).
Пробовал запускать вторые Х согласно рекомендациям www.bog.pp.ru но
дальше черного экрана с курсором в виде крестика на ТВ дело не пошло,
никакого приглашения выбрать сеанс.
Там еще упоминается о настройке двух независимых изображений с помощью
TwinView, но где можно найти подобную инструкцию "Для ЧАЙНИКОВ", вроде
меня?
Корче добаловался, что иксы умерли (пробовал менять настройки по
умолчанию и выставить 800х600 на мониторе) :( Сегодня буду
переустанавливать Мастера.
