Всем привет.
Система ALT Linux Master 2.2 с апдейтами. Установлен cups-1.1.18-alt4,
foomatic-2.0.2-alt2.2002122. На LPT1 порту стоит принтер HP LaserJet 1200
Series. Хотел вот настроить cups для работы с принтером. Зашел на
http://localhost:631/admin/ - выбираю add printer, дальше еще пару шагов,
выбираю порт, драйвер. Потом вижу "error:
server-error-operation-not-supported" - соответственно принтер не создался.
Тот же самый результат с таким же сообщением об ошибки при попытке создания
принтера через KDE Control Center. Если нужно уточнить какие-нибудь
настройки, напишите.
Заранее спасибо за помощь.

Перед добавлением делали sudo service cups amdrestart?

а после -- sudo service cups restart
