У меня все программы (Lyx, gimp mozilla и т.д.) которые показывают какое-то странное DPI - 83. По идее у меня должно быть 96dpi, ну 72, ну 100 - а про 93 я слышу впервые. Это как-то можно исправить, или такое DPI вполне возможно? (Тогда где проверить поточнее, какое оно по факту)
PS: Догадываюсь, что копать надо в настройках X-ов, но лезть "не зная броду" и без реальной надобности не хочется, ибо он (X, т.е.) пока работает на ура, прям как из коробки встал, так и работает и трогать его не хочется, но раздражает несколько эти 83dpi...

Что монитор сказал, то и показывают. Проверка -- линейка и
калькулятор :-)
