Это нормальное явление :)) для ПМ.
Попытки откорректировать им найденные ошибки (в таких же симптомах как у вас
ни к чему не приводили -- ПМ так же не запускался)
Если он Вам уж очнь нравиться то воспльзуйтесь им при первоначальной разбивке
диска а потом можете его смело сносить.
