Вы забыли написать как Вы пересобирали glibc -- из src.rpm или
иначе. Без \тих сведений ваш вопрос практически теряет смысл.
Правильно делать upgrade glibc -- при помощи apt-get из updates
(при желании -- из сизифа). Очевидно, что glibc под Alt Linux
собирал как минимум его майнтейнер.
