Hello, community!
Имею следующее железо:
мать SUPERGRACE via 694x (socket 370)
hdd maxtor d740x-6l
cdrw nec nr-7700a
содержимое modules
agpgart
scsi_hostadapter
содержимое modules.conf
pre-install pcmcia_core CARDMGR_OPTS=-f /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start
alias usb-interface usb-uhci
above snd-pcm-oss snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-slot-0 snd-via686
above snd-via686 snd-pcm-oss
probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
options ide-scsi units=/dev/hdc
проблема - при обращении к CDRW система наглухо виснет.
что делать? где копать? в логах все пусто...

А лучше прописать в /etc/sysconfig/hd...
