Хотелось бы знать.
можно ли поправить следующую ситуацию.
если я в fonts.dir указываю несколько кодировок одного шрифта то при выборе в гномовских программах у меня постоянно вылезает не та кодировка. на средней вкладке видно, что в имени запрашиваемого шрифта стоит что угодно из возможных вариантов кроме koi8-r
если на третьей вкладке (фильтр) выбрать koi8-r и ткнуть на первой вкладке в тот же шрифт, то все исправляется. то есть в имени запрошенного шрифта появляется кои8-р и можно посмотреть на русские буковки в образце и все такое.
единственный вариант мною найденыый - это из fonts.dir убрать все кодировки отличные от koi8-r.
только тогда при выборе шрифта сразу идет запрос нужной кодировки, но имхо это кривенько. тем более что шрифты юникод.
а что можно еще сделать для решения данной проблемы?
заметил что misc-fixed -...- *-* отображает все как надо - как это получилось?
