Есть красивые иконки в формате png. Есть ли способ перегнать их в ico чтобы их можно было использовать в винде???

Hello Sergey, такое возможно и даже без особых усилий. Открываешь
иконку в Виндах каким-нибудь банальным Paint, копируешь в буфер обмена
и вставляешь в Microangelo Studio или IconXP - осталось только сохранить как
*.ico и все.
А вообще-то в KDE по-моему есть специальная программа для рисования
иконок (склероз -
названия не помню) так она с изменением форматов оч. хорошо
справляется.

sudo apt-get install ImageMagick
man convert
for i in *.png; do convert $i /mnt/win_c/path/to/${i%png}ico; done
