Есть-ли какой-нибудь способ заставить работать ICH4 на ядрах 2.4? Может
быть существует патч? Что-то не очень хочеться ставить ядро 2.5. :(

А можно где-то найти патчи, что-бы из ядра 2.4.19 сделать ядро
