Подскажите как можно (обычно что и как это делают)
перевести на русский редактор+оболочка для LaTeX

Доброго.
У меня kile 1.9.3 и вроде он очень неплохо переведён Юрием Вороцовым,
хотя что переводить там ещё есть. В кратце. Если вы хотите поправить
ошибки перевода или доперевести то для этого нужен исходный код
программы (лучше из CVS/SVN). После этого в каталоге
kile/translations/ru/messages kile.po переводить то что хочется.
Юрий может быть заинтересован в этой вашей работе, поэтому я CC его к
письму. Может быть он добавит что-нибудь :)
