У меня сейчас проблема в том, что на одном серваке крутится десяток
mysql-серверов. Как только я делаю на одном из них масштабные
изменения данных, например оптимизацию таблиц, то дисковые операции
резко возрастают (iostat обычно показывает 0.5 MB/s на диска, а при
нагрузке целых 10 MB/s). При их возрастании сразу начинают расти
очереди запросов в каждом mysql-сервере, что приводит к долгому
отклику Апачей и недоступности некоторых сайтов.
Вот у меня сейчас встал вопрос, как имея 2 или 3 сказёвых диска
добиться от сервера максимальной скорости чтения с них для быстрой
работы mysql-серверов.
