Я отправил в сизиф и 4.0 пакет netconsole - это инитскрипт + конфиг - обёртка
для ядерного модуля netconsole.
Кто не в курсе - этот самый модуль позвляет удобно логировать зависания ядра
(kernel panic) без фотографирования монитора или подключения serial console
через com-port. Достаточно настроить netconsole и удалённый syslog-демон, и
вот он - лог паники.
