Понятия не имею... Была мысль, что может модуль tun поломан, так нет:
поставленный туда же VirtualBox работает без проблем.

Не одна. Еще в /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp кой-чего есть. Или ничего там
руками не трогалось и заработало искаропки ?
