Можно. Теоретически должно корректно. На практике могут быть мелкие
неприятности, но скорее всего небольшие и легко поправимые.

Последнее. Чаще всего пакеты появляются сначала в сизифе, а в
различные бранчи попадают в зависимости от личных или профессиональных
предпочтений мантейнеров.
