Помнится были времена, когда postfix приходилось пересобирать (править
спек) для включения sasl в окружении ALT и конфиг sasl помещать в chroot
postfix'а. Посмотрите через apt есть ли пакеты postfix-mysql,
cyrus-sasl-sql.
