Здравствуйте.
Помогите настроить vhosts by name
прописываю:
/etc/httpd2/httpd2.conf:
Listen *:80
<Directory "/var/www/vhosts">
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
Include conf/vhost.d/A.*.conf
/etc/httpd2/conf/vhost.d/A.1.conf:
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot /var/www/vhosts/serv1
ServerName serv1
</VirtualHost>
/etc/httpd2/conf/vhost.d/A.2.conf:
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot /var/www/vhosts/serv2
ServerName serv2
</VirtualHost>
получаю:
alex:alexlin ~$ sudo service httpd2 restart
Stopping httpd2 service: [
DONE ]
Checking configuration sanity for httpd2: [Tue Mar 06 13:56:53 2007] [warn] _default_ VirtualHost
overlap on port 80, the first has precedence
Syntax OK

Что не так?

1. Какая версия apache2 используется?
2. поищите _default_ в /etc/httpd2/conf
PS: mod_ssl стоит и настроен?

Забыл прописать NameVirtualHost *:80 в /etc/httpd2/conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf ....

Есть (в /etc/httpd2/conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf), но по умолчанию --
закоментировано.

Посмотри баги на первом апаче -- мне в своё время, кажется,
именно на это и пеняли (после раскомментирования по умолчанию
никто с проблемами не приходил).

В новом варианте (с конфигами аля-Debian) vhosts будут работать по
умолчанию.
