Попробуй chmod -x /sbin/udevd и проверь, что монтируется devpts.

Нафиг-нафиг, или 2.6.18-ovz-rhel, или 2.6.32-ovz-el.
27-ovz к живым официально не относится.

Эта гадость в контейнерах будто вовсе не тестируется -- один VE
за несколько лет крови выпил достаточно много, в основном из /dev.
Возможно, у lav@ найдётся архив билдрута (см. korinf).
