Это который rp-pppoe-client? Он не нужен. Все можно настроить через
etcnet, ему эти скрипты не нужны. Достаточно rp-pppoe-base.

Затем, что в оригинале там с комментарием "Sorry, dude..."
делается rm -f /etc/resolv.conf. Можно, конечно, убрать зависимость на
openresolv и выполнять этот код если его нет. Но я решил, что
зависимость на openresolv меньшее зло.
