Subject: [Sysadmins] непонятные /dev/dm-X (Branch 4.0)
Date: Thu, 5 Feb 2009 10:24:00 +0400
Message-ID: <200902051024.01055.a_s_y@sama.ru> (raw)

Приветствую.

Обнаружил сегодня, с некоторым удивлением, такую картину:

# df
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5             4.0G  741M  3.1G  20% /
udevfs                5.0M   88K  5.0M   2% /dev
shmfs                 2.0G     0  2.0G   0% /dev/shm
tmpfs                 2.0G     0  2.0G   0% /tmp
/dev/dm-0             190M   28M  153M  16% /boot
/dev/dm-2             4.0G  255M  3.5G   7% /usr
/dev/dm-3             8.1G  1.2G  6.9G  15% /var
/dev/sda9             1.8T  390G  1.3T  23% /var/lib/vz

Сижу и думаю, откуда взялись dm-X и чем оно может грозить.
Раньше их не было. Судя по всему, это после последней перезагрузки
пару месяцев назад.

При этом ещё:

Disk /dev/dm-0: 205 MB, 205599744 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 24 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Disk /dev/dm-0 doesn't contain a valid partition table

Disk /dev/dm-2: 4293 MB, 4293563904 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 521 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Disk /dev/dm-2 doesn't contain a valid partition table

Disk /dev/dm-3: 8595 MB, 8595385344 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1044 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Disk /dev/dm-3 doesn't contain a valid partition table
