Уважаемые коллеги!
Установлен branch 4.1 desktop-minimal
Архитектура X86_64
Далее устанавливетеся из локальной копии репозитория branch 4.1
Доставлено ядро ovz 
2.6.18-ovz-smp-alt24 #1 SMP 
Пакеты синхронизированы с репозиторием
При попытке создать шаблон, например, ftp-server через альтератор
выдаётся в log

непонятно, что is not installable
Куда копать?

Вы с каким ядром загружены?

В логи. :)
И посмотрите на ветку: template of vs in OfSrv 4.0 от 26.07.08
Там я по граблям основательно потоптался... Их есть и много...

Спасибо всем, кто отозвался.
Проблема была в недосинхронизированном локальном репозитории.
После синхронизации шаблоны стали собираться
