"В работу" не пускал, но тестовые инсталляции с open-iscsi из Дедала и
iscsitarget вполне себе работают. Инициатором, соответственно и linux и
windows 2003 работают.
Там все довольно прозрачно, главное вытянуть open-iscsi из Дедала и
почитать документацию в интернете.

очень, очень печально. бинарный пакет, видимо, был материализован
силой мысли его maintainer'a, минуя лишние промежуточные этапы
типа "rpm -ba" и прочей чепухи.
