Предлагаю посмотреть -- предыдущий взгляд на 4.x у меня вышел
с подходом к переносу данных, и в общем это не очень интересно.
А вот начисто (или если уже озадачиваться переносом всерьёз?)
-- куда красивее.
Бишь если кто присматривался или использовал collectd 3.x --
рекомендую поприсматриваться к 4.x, хотя 3.x поддерживается.
Возможно, буду собирать в 4.0/branch под именем collectd4 --
пока не определился.
